Porsha Williamsand Simon Guobadia’s marriage is coming to an end.
Guobadia — the ex of Williams' formerReal Housewives of Atlantacostar Falynn Guobadia — and Williams starred together in theRHOAlimited seriesspin-offPorsha’s Family Matters.
Here’s everything to know about Simon Goubadia and his relationship withPorsha Williams.
He’s from Africa
Guobadia was born on June 2, 1964, in Nigeria. He has seven younger siblings andimmigrated to the United States in 1982.
He’s the founder and CEO of a petroleum company
In 2007, Guobadia founded Simon & Company — now calledSimcol Petroleum Limited Company, which supplies refined fuels in the southeast United States.
Previously, Guobadia was a CPA “focusing on accounting, audit, transactional tax consulting and software development for several global prestigious firms.” He holds a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from the University of District Columbia.
He’s an avid golfer

Guobadia spends a lot of his free time on the golf course. He has shared Instagram posts of himselfworking on his golf swingon the course, as well aspracticing at home in his backyardandat the golf range.
“Where are my golf buddies! Let’s do this!! Golfing season is in effect,” he captioned a May 2022 post.
He’s a passionate car collector
“I just love them,” Guobadia told the magazine. “I love the history around certain vehicles, whether they’re Italian or British or German.”
He was previously married to another Atlanta housewife
Guobadia has been married three times before, most recently to formerReal Housewives of Atlantacast member Falynn Guobadia. The pair wed in June 2019 butannounced their separationin April 2021.
“After a year and a half together, Falynn and I have made the mutual decision to end our marriage. Despite our willingness to be transparent, we respectfully ask for privacy at this time. Thank you,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories at the time.
The former couple finalized their divorce in July 2021, just a few months after Guobadia proposed to Williams.
He has five children
Guobadia has five children from previous relationships: Quentin, Nicole, Christian, Benjamin and Ximena. In May 2022, he shared a pictureon Instagramof himself posing with Williams and three of his kids celebrating their graduation from home school, writing “All graduated with Honors, and elevating to various grade levels.”
In the post, Guobadia also thanked his former partners for their support. “Thanks to both moms for working with me to co-parent these exceptionally gifted children,” he added.
Williams also shares a daughter, PJ, with herex-fiancé Dennis McKinley.
He’s ventured into the film industry

The entrepreneur also has apassion for filmand has been credited as an executive producer on movies such asJail House Dogs(2012),Ken Ford Live from the Buckhead Theatre(2013),Kill(2019)andSon of the South(2020).
He’s a restauranteur
Guobadia has invested in many Atlanta-area restaurants, including The Republic, DAS BBQ II, and LDV Hospitality subsidiary, American Cut Steakhouse.
He married Williams in November 2022

“I am ridiculously excited,” Williams told PEOPLE ahead of the nuptials. “I am just so ready. I’m not even nervous. I know I’m marrying the love of my life, and it’s going to solidify our relationship and our family bond. I’m calm and excited.”
Guobadia chimed in: “For starters, I was so excited and, quite frankly, surprised that she wanted to do the traditional way because it’s not something you hear every day. To embrace my culture and want to be married in that fashion is something that blows my mind. The journey has been phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for a better future wife.”
While the weddings celebrated different cultures, they were equally extravagant, from the bride and groom’s wardrobes to their over-the-top cakes.
Thegold cakeat the American reception was so tall that Williams couldn’t slice it with a typical knife.
“For the cake at the American ceremony, it’s so tall that I’m going to have to use a sword to cut it,” she told PEOPLE ahead of the wedding. “If extra was a bride, it’d be me. I promise you I did not know that I was this extra.”
The cake at their Nigerian wedding was shorter but still stunning, with the six tiers adorned with gold embellishments. “The cake for the Nigerian wedding, it will be a traditional Benin Kingdom cake,” theReal Housewives of Atlantaalum said. “So it’s very, very different.”
While chatting with PEOPLE in March 2023, Williamsdescribed her two wedding ceremonies as “a dream come true"and a “true combining of family.” TheRHOAalum went on to share that being married to Guobadia has taken their relationship to a new “level of commitment.”
Williams filed for divorce in February 2024

After 15 months of marriage, Williamsfiled for divorcefrom Guobadia. The news came shortly after rumors began to swirl about the businessman’s citizen status.
However, a source told PEOPLE that the divorce is “unrelated to recent allegations involving Simon’s past.”
