Christine Brownis getting candid about her sex life — or lack thereof — withKody Brownduring their relationship.
TheSister Wivesstar, 51, is now acknowledging the extent to which her physical relationship with the TLC patriarch had deteriorated in the time leading up to their split.
“It was, like, five times in one year,” she toldJuicy Scooppodcast host Heather McDonald of sex with her ex. “There’s sex and then there’s intimacy. What we didn’t have was intimacy. The intimacy itself had been gone for years.”
In fact, she said Kody announced the end of their physical coupling: “He’s like, ‘We’re not going to have an intimate marriage anymore. We’re not going to have sex.’”
Soon after her then-husband’s proclamation, Christine began “boxing up his stuff” and informed him he had no place in her bed.

Christine, 51, was the first of the sister wives toleave their plural marriageto Kody, 54.
A year later in December 2022, Kody announcedhis separationfrom second wifeJanelle Brown, 54. A month after that, end of his union withMeri Brown, 52, wasconfirmedin January after the pair’s relationship had beenplatonicfor years.

Christine has been open about her extraordinary connection to David, revealing she knew he might be the one after their very first date.
“The date went great,” shetold PEOPLEin October. “And the date that I had lined up for that night with another guy, I canceled that date. I decided we had something, we just clicked really, really well. And then on our second date, I realized that we actually had something really special.”

Now that the two have finally achieved their happily ever after, Christine shared why David felt like “home” ahead oftheir weddingat the Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah.
“I feel like wherever we are together, we just create this amazing unity together,” she gushed. “We’re just a solid unit, and whatever goes on around us just doesn’t even matter. Being married together just solidifies us together.”
“I knew Christine was ‘the one,'” David added. “It just feels so right.”
