Quavo is launching a $100,000 gun prevention program in Atlanta.
The rapper, 32, and his foundation,The Rocket Foundation, launched the SPARK Grants program on Wednesday, which will work on reducing gun violence in Atlanta.
The non-profit recipients of the grant will then collaborate with The Rocket Foundation on initiatives that will aid change in the community.

He added, “There is a lot of important work going on in ATL right now, and part of our mission is to uplift these organizations and support them to help save more lives.”
Applicants are also preferred to be based or have a headquarters in Atlanta, as well as have “proof of evidence-based initiative.”
Meanwhile, all 10 grant recipients will be announced on June 18, marking the birthday of Quavo’s nephew and Migos co-member, Takeoff.
Takeoffdied at the age of 28in November 2022 after he was shot outside a downtown bowling alley in Houston, Texas.
Quavo founded The Rocket Foundation in 2022 to honor the life and legacy of Takeoff, supporting programs that work towards preventing gun violence.
