Meghan had previously discussed thedispute over bridesmaid dressesin her 2021 interview withOprah Winfrey. After media outlets reported that Meghan made Kate cry in the lead-up to the royal wedding overPrincess Charlotte’s dress, Meghan gave her own version of events. “The reverse happened,” she said.
“And I don’t say this to be disparaging to anyone, because it was a really hard week of the wedding, and she was upset about something. But she owned it, and she apologized and brought me flowers and a note apologizing,” Meghan said.
