Because many users thought Jessica didn’t “allow” her husband to accept the ticket, she decided to posta follow-up videoto clarify what actually happened.
“Y’all are so triggered. Let me clear things up,” she said. “My husband was allowed to go to the Super Bowl. He decided to not go on his own.”

While not attending the Super Bowl was a decision of his own free will, even if Tim had wanted to go he couldn’t.
“It was logistically impossible for him to attend because he was invited at 9 p.m. the day before we were leaving on our flight to Mexico for the wedding,” she said. “And for everyone saying, ‘Oh, my God, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience,’ I do not subscribe to that limiting belief. I will be going to the Super Bowl many more times in this lifetime, so keep that belief to yourself.”
The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs40-22 at Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9. It is unclear whether or not Tim and Jessica had any time to watch the game on television amid the family nuptials.
