In the video, Lowry very carefully handles the newborn in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), holding her for a little before putting a bow on her and switching her hospital blanket out with one from home. The little one is calm throughout the video, with the pink bow sticking out prominently in a head of thick, dark hair.

“A glimpse of our NICU journey 💕,” she wrote. “I’m sending so much love to all the NICU babies and families. I know there are so many that have gone through far more than we did… I see you 🫶🏼#kaillowry#kailandthechaos.”

“For me, it was you couldn’t be there with me in the NICU when I went,” she told Scott, referring to the fact that they’d take turns, with one visiting the hospital while the other handled the other six children.

“She was away from her twin; we were away from her. When we were home, we still couldn’t process it because there was so much going on here. Lincoln still had his basketball games and practices.Isaacstill had his after-school stuff. Lux still had what he was doing,” she continued.
