Jenny from the block is back with her first new album in nearly a decade!
On Monday,Jennifer Lopezannounced the official release date for her ninth studio album,This Is Me… Now, and a companion film. Both are slated to drop on Feb. 16, 2024.
The announcement comes over two decades after the release of her third album,This Is Me…Then.The newproject, which serves as a sequel to the 2002 record, will be composed of bothThis Is Me…Now: The AlbumandThis Is Me…Now: The Film, which will be available to stream on Prime Video.
Lopez, 54, made the announcement on social media while also teasing the release of her new single, “Can’t Get Enough,” which arrives on Jan. 10.
“This musical experience is a manifestation through music, film, and reality, of life’s journey on the search for truth about love,” a message at the end of the clip read.
Another preview, shared Monday, showed Lopez sitting outside in the rain as she reads a letter and tosses it into a fireplace. “When I was a little girl, when someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always… in love,” she narrated the clip.
The letter that Lopez threw in the fire was dated Dec. 24, 2002 and signed “B.” It reads, “Life’s tough but you’re sweet. Thanks for the gift. Hope you like the flowers. You told me you could never have enough. I believe you.”

This Is Me… Now: The Albumfeatures writing and executive production from Lopez and Rogét Chayed, and it features additional credits from Angel Lopez, Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman,HitBoy, Tay Keith, INK and more, according to a release. It’s described as the musician’s “most honest and personal” LP yet.

Lopez previously announced the effort in November 2022, when she shared a clip of herselfrecreating the coverforThis Is Me… Then,which was dedicated to Affleck. At the time of the album’s announcement, Lopez shared a 13-song track list, which included a song titled “Dear Ben pt. II.”
“This album is a philosophy, a reflection, a zeitgeist moment,” a release noted in 2022. “It’s about hope, faith and true love never dying.”
