My new nickname may as well be Passenger becauseJennifer Lawrence’spregnancy style is taking me on a journey.
The 34-year-old actress, who ispregnant with her second child, stepped out on December 17, and I immediately wanted to recreate her look. Everything she wore, including her royal blue zip-up hoodie, navy pants, and clog-like shoes, were comfortable essentials I’d wear both in and out of the house. To spin the athleisure look into something more luxe, she topped it off with a long brown coat and matching tote bag.

Though I’m not a mom, I still see the practicality of Lawrence’s fit. Her outfit was plush and warm, and her shoes didn’t make me wince like the thought of heels do. All in all, it was for good for running after kids — or, in my case, my brother’s dog.

I bought a zip-up hoodie at a concert recently, and not long after, I got very sick. I’d have hot flashes one second and then be shivering the next, and I didn’t have the energy to change each time. But thanks to the zipper, I could quickly adjust my top to let in more airflow or bundle up.
The one I have has text and photos on it, and I already wear that one constantly, so I think I’m entitled to a more versatile plain one, too. I wouldn’t usually choose royal blue — I’d probably pick one of the other 14 colors — but I’m a new fan of the color.
