Jenna Dewangot in quite a workout trying to capture the perfect family Christmas photo.
The actress, 43, shared a hilariousvideoon Instagram Saturday, taking fans behind the scenes of the photo shoot — which didn’t exactly go to plan.
In the clip, Dewan, her fiancéSteve Kazee, her kids Everly, 10, and Callum, 3, and the family’s four dogs are all adorably dressed in matching red and white plaid pajamas. A professional photographer was on hand to take holiday photos of the group.
As Dewan, Kazee and Everly made silly faces for the camera, Callum wailed away. In another cut, the family smiled as they posed and it seemed theyalmostgot the perfect shot.
But then Callum quickly snuck away out of the frame, leaving his family to continue on without him. The dogs, too, kept running off amid the very hectic shoot and had to be chased down.

This isn’t the first time that Dewan has pulled back the curtain onthe realities of photos with kids. When it was time for Everly and Callum to return to school in the fall, she postedsnapshotsof her children posing on the front porch before they headed off for their first day.
“Instagram vs reality, back to school edition,” she wrote. “If my kids teachers are seeing this, THANK YOU.”

The first photo showed Everly and Dewan smiling with their arms wrapped around each other, and the second captured Callum grinning as he stood next to a bright yellow school bus-inspired backpack. However, the happy photos didn’t capture how the kids were really feeling.
Dewan’s carousel also included a clip of Everly dramatically dragging her feet while walking through their home and into a wall — seemingly not enthused about the day ahead.
As for Callum, a final photo showed him in the very same spot where he posed for his smiling school photo, only this time, he was kneeling down while crying his eyes out.
