Snyder ’s always been up front aboutwhat his programme werefor his clip in the DCEU , and he has in the past tense sing about how he wanted to finally bring John Stewart ’s Green Lantern into the fold . thespian Wayne T. Carr ( The Tragedy of Macbeth ) was plant to bring Stewart , but his scenes were ultimately cut due to HBO Max working on aGreen Lantern projection of their own . On Friday , Carr unwrap what his Lantern would ’ve looked like in Snyder ’s cinematic universe , squeeze a fond pic of the costume with the caption “ Give the fans what they want , ” followed by the opening of the Green Lantern swearing .

The most important takeout food from the costume is that it ’s an genuine physical suit that looks pretty faithful to the source material . For many lover of the Lanterns , this was one of many thing thatthe widely disliked2011 movie starring Ryan Reynolds stick wrong . Just including Stewart at all is a pretty big mess — fans of the Justice League cartoon were n’t really enthused that Hal Jordan was the lead of the previous motion picture , and there ’s been hope from many that Stewart will finally get to to headline a echt alive - action Green Lantern undertaking .
HBO Max ’s aforementioned Green Lantern seriesis already saidto not admit Stewart or Jordan .
