Describingthat March 2023 night, Jabbari testified last week that after an evening out, the couple wasinside a hired carheading back to the penthouse they shared. She claimed she noticed a flirtatious text from another woman on Majors’ phone. She said she took the phone from his hands, and that in response Majors allegedly twisted her right arm, and as she curled her body “just trying to protect myself" she said she felt “a really hard blow against my head" that “took me aback.”
The 911 call audio — along withtext messagesbetween the couple in which Majorsappears to admit to physically attackingJabbari on a previous occasion that’s not being prosecuted — were released Wednesday morning as Manhattan prosecutors rested their case. Since then, the actor’s defense team brought in three of their own witnesses, including a medical expert from Connecticut.
Earlier in the trial, Jabbari testified that after the couple’s fight, she went to Loosie’s Nightclubwith strangers who came upon her during the incident because “I was just trying to suppress the sadness that I felt deeply in my heart.”
Throughout the trial — in cross-examination of two of the people Jabbari attended the Lower East Side nightclub with as well as the medical expert on the stand Wednesday afternoon — the defense tried to elicit testimony suggesting Jabbari left uninjured from Majors and drunkenly fell and hurt her finger and bumped her head hours after the incident.
Majors’ 911 call later that morning — which lasted just under five minutes — led to a police investigation, Jabbari’s hospitalization and the actor’s arrest.
At Bellevue hospital, Jabbari was treated for a hairline fracture to a bone in her middle finger and a cut to her ear.

“I don’t know,” Majors told the 911 dispatcher when she asked what happened. “But she’s unconscious. She’s naked from the bottom down. She has a sweatshirt on. She’s my ex-partner. We broke up. I came back. She sent me text messages insinuating as much.”
Majors told the dispatcher he had stayed at a hotel after they broke up the day before and upon returning to the home they shared the next morning, had been unable to get inside their bedroom, which was locked. He said the apartment building’s handyman helped him inside.
“Do you know what she did, or what she took?” the dispatcher asked. “Or you don’t know?”
“No, I don’t know,” Majors said.
The dispatcher connected the actor to EMS, who was already en route to his apartment that morning when he was patched through.
“What should I do?” Majors asked the emergency responder. “What— what should I do?”
The responder told the actor to ensure the doors were open and asked Majors if Jabbari had fallen or hit her head. “No,” Majors said. “I think I saw a cut behind her ear.”

Ruspoli, who said he got a call from Majors that March morning in which the actor told him he could not get inside his locked bedroom where Grace was, said Majors called him with “fear [and] concern” in his voice, adding that the actor sounded “near the same” as he did in the 911 call.
The defense rested their case Wednesday afternoon after the agent left the stand.
