Now that she ’s done with Batgirl , Gail Simone ’s launch a Modern Secret Six comic for DC . Simone was the writer of the lover - pet claim for years before the DC macrocosm boot in 2011 , so it ’s go to be good to have her and her deeply dysfunctional squad back .
According to an audience withHero Complex , the “ squad ” is formed when its six members wake up in an empty white room with each other and no idea how they got there or why . “ They in a flash do not like each other , and they directly do not get along with each other , ” add Simone .
The only two reassert members so far are former Batman foe Catman and Black Alice , both Simone favorites stimulate their New 52 - niverse debuts ; but that ’s also clear a Talon on this first issue incubate as well .
