Among other stuff and nonsense , we also get wind that the Thundertank will be more awful this metre around — and we glimpse a picture of it . The Thundertank will have new parts , fresh missile to fire , and motorcycles that come up off the arm and freestanding .
Lion - O will have a prominent journeying to become the grownup , problematic Lion - O we retrieve from the original cartoon — he ’ll long time as it goes along , and face the same leadership challenge he faced in the original series , where the other members of the group fight him to prove he can conduct . The world these characters will be exploring will be a hatful darker and more severe , and the villains will be more hardcore , promise art director Dan Norton .
Snarf will be less plaguey than in the original cartoon , the producers prognosticate — he ’ll still say “ Snarf ” a lot , but also make a caboodle of animal stochasticity . He ’ll be like R2D2 or Chewbacca , and Lion - O will understand what he ’s saying even if we do n’t . Also , the Thunderkittens will have tails , to emphasize that they ’re more like existent cats and less like feline - human loan-blend .
There may be some shout - outs to Silverhawks or other quondam Rankin / Bass show .
Also , the producer announced two novel pieces of vocalism cast : Clancy Brown will be vocalize Grune the Destroyer . And Robin Atkins - Downs will be voice Mumm - Ra .
