The Federal Bureau of Investigation is supporting a CIA appraisal that Russia interpose in United States elections , fit in toa Washington Post reportquoting anonymous US official .
Some Republican lawgiver had hinted that the FBI may not agree with the CIA assessment that make news lately last hebdomad . From The Washington Post :
“ Earlier this week , I met separately with ( Director ) FBI James Comey and DNI Jim Clapper , and there is strong consensus among us on the scope , nature , and intent of Russian interference in our presidential election , ” CIA Director John O. Brennan said in a subject matter to the agency ’s hands , concord to U.S. functionary who have figure the subject matter .

“ The three of us also agree that our administration , along with others , need to focus on finish the thoroughgoing critique of this issue that has been directed by President Obama and which is being led by the DNI , ” Brennan ’s message read .
As it stands now , the CIA , FBI and Director of National Intelligence all correspond that Russia intervened in US elections with the expressed goal of getting Trump elected . On the other hand , Russia and Trump have suppose Russia did n’t help elect Trump .
