Foxtel CEO Patrick Delany is taking back what he said aboutGame of ThronesstarEmilia Clarke.

During the premiere of the show’s spin-offHouse of the Dragonin Sydney earlier this week, Delany spoke to the audience before the screening started.

In his speech, the CEO recounted how he was late to start watchingGame of Thrones, a show in which Clarke starred as Daenerys Targaryen. “I was like, ‘What’s this show with the short, dumpy girl walking into the fire?'” he said,Crikeyreported.

Clarke’s representatives did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

House of the Dragon, the highly-anticipated spinoff series toGame of Throneswill be arriving to the small screen on August 21.

The 10-episode drama is based on George R.R. Martin’sFire & Bloodand follows the Targaryen civil war, which occurred about 200 years before the events that unfolded in HBO’s eight-season hit.

The cast includesMatt Smith(Prince Daemon Targaryen),Olivia Cooke(Alicent Hightower), Emma D’Arcy (Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen), Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower), Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon), Eve Best (Rhaenys Velaryon),Paddy Considine(Viserys Targaryen), Fabien Frankel (Criston Cole) and Sonoya Mizuno (Mysaria).
