This is my favorite photo from one of my favorite trips I’ve ever been on. This was the 4th time I’ve been to Egypt and the pyramids."

I really appreciated the temperament of the people. What a beautiful place. We stayed at one of my favorite hotels I have ever been to, theAlila Uluwatu— it was immaculate! And the food, ah the corn fritters with the curry sauce and the coconut rice."

My first lesson in enjoying Cuba was not to only visit the main cities of old and new Havana — that’s too easy. Venture out, there are some really lush and beautiful parts. Cienfuegos, Pinar Del Rio, and Viñales are some of my favorites. Lots of people like Veradero, but it’s way too touristy for me in a place where I’m not interested in being touristy. Although, I do love the vintage cars.

07of 11Dubai, United Arab Emiratescourtesy DJ Ruckus"I spend a lot of time in Dubai these days and it has become one of my favorites. You can hear UK Grime, Afrobeat, House, EDM, American Hip-hop, French, Arabic, and Spanish music come together to create the Pangea of music. It’s all appreciated in one place. It’s so multicultural, I love it. In my opinion, Dubai struggled with its identity early on, as it is sort of playground for the rich. It seems to now have a bit more soul and an incredibly bright future as one of the most sought after world tourist attractions."

08of 11Ibiza, Spaincourtesy DJ Ruckus"I have had so many wonderful experiences on this island from a DJ standpoint. At a certain time, this was the place where you could go and hear the grooviest house music. The soul of the island is music, everything is based around it and the beauty came next. It’s also maybe the best party location on the planet. I have found it to become not as desirable these days musically, as the shift in popularity in EDM music has changed. This version of electronic music is glorified, but if you know where to go, there are still some of the best vibes you can find anywhere in the world. The smaller beaches and restaurants and lovely people make this location so cool. Find the hippies and you will have the most fun!"

09of 11Punta Mita, Mexicocourtesy DJ Ruckus"I was here for a couple days for a little work and a little play. I was performing for a private client, a very intimate DJ set, which was so great as I could really play some of the great music I have come to know and please a giant crowd. Oh, what a beautiful experience. I stayed at a hotel called theImanta Resort. I had never heard of it before, but the service was immaculate and there were animals on the grounds. We were so deep into the jungle, secluded in this Mexican castle, it was absolutely incredible. It was a hidden gem that is not on the regular list of places you would just stumble upon!"

The appreciation for the DJ there is also quite okay in my book! I also went to Komokura, Japan, where I saw a bronze statue of Amida Buddha, which is the largest Buddha in all of Japan."

11of 11Amalfi Coast, Italycourtesy DJ Ruckus"I’m not sure there is a prettier place on earth than the Amalfi coast, but I still have a long way to go before I can say that. This is best done with a boat, preferably a big yacht. Although, any way you experience it is desirable. The food, the water, and overall beauty — it’s just stunning. And if you’re a gelato fan then you’re in luck! I recommend partying at Music on the Rocks in Positano.
