James Wan , the human race who help oneself reinventhorror with Saw and Insidious ( and made the mega - smash hit Furious 7 and Aquaman ) is team up with frequent collaborator Gary Dauberman to turn the1990s Disney animated cartoon Gargoylesinto a lively - action series for Disney+ .
According tothe Hollywood Reporter , which violate the report , Dauberman will represent as showrunner , writer , and executive manufacturer with Wan , as part of his Atomic Monster company , also executive producing . The pair have antecedently worked together on the Annabelle films , part of The adjure Universe which Wan help create and directed multiple picture show in . Dauberman write Annabelle , Annabelle : world , and Annabelle come Homes , the last of which he also directed .
