CNET is report thatApple has lost another iPhone in another streak . This time , it come out to be an iPhone 5 that ’s gone missing . ( We say appears because CNET neither confirms this , nor provide any pic of the phone . )
Of course , Apple lose an iPhone 4 in a prevention last year , too . Am I the only one reminded of aline from The Hunt for Red October ?

This time the speech sound was lost ata taproom called Cava 22 in San Francisco ’s Mission District . Apple patently reach police force about the “ invaluable ” phone that had go missing , and even gave them a emplacement for it , where a resident admit being at Cava 22 the night it went miss . nevertheless , the police force ( and Apple investigators ) failed to turn over it up . Apple employees even apparently offered the man money for the phone , no questions ask , without success . Apple did not charge a law report .
CNET postulate that the phone may have been sell on Craigslist for $ 200 . But it does n’t provide any evidence of that , nor does it name any source , which is kind of odd . But based on what it does divulge , my surmisal is that it has a source within the San Francisco Police Department . There ’s a lot of inner information that only a cop or prosecutor would know . Unless one of the Apple investigators is talking .
