George Lucas is not satisfied with turning the tool Yoda in Star Wars : The Phantom Menace into a CG creation . Or just fixing some of the lopsided lightsabre effect in the original trilogy . He ’s going a mo further .
Lucas had promised that fans would have a few new point here and there to notice in his fresh remastered HD versions of his classic trilogy — and now the first detail are leak out out . And lover are not happy . Some of the fans have gotten hold of the Blu - ray footage , and they ’re dissecting it atTheForce.net , theBlu-Ray.com forumsand theDVDTalk forum . And a couple of changes to the soundtrack have already become apparent , at least if some recent leak are to be believed .
UPDATE : Badass Digestsays “ a trusted source ” confirm that these changes are real .
Most notably , “ Vader now screams NOOOOOOOO when he throws the Emperor ” in Return of the Jedi . And it sound , quite frankly , kind of silly . Check outan mp3 of the new sound effect .

Second of all , when Obi - Wan scares off the Tusken Raiders from an unconscious Luke , we no longer hear Obi - Wan ’s famous “ Krayyt Dragon ” call , but instead it just sort of sounds like Walrus Man sick . Check outan mp3 of the new version .

And then there ’s the new more realistic , blinking eyes on the Ewoks — see the clipping at left boast Wicket W. Warrick , which was sent to us by the same tout who sent us the audio files of the new intelligent effects .

Please , everyone commend that no matter how “ dependable ” sure sources are , the official release of the Blu Ray set is still a brace of weeks away , and until the final commercial freeing is in the work force of the public , anything leak is suspect – including promotional cloth from Lucas . It ’s quite potential that we , the teeming mass of netnerds , are being messed with in regards to some of the “ new leak ” footage . The Ewok eye , the crappy sabers , the various sticky screams … we’re a highly irritable lot right hand about now , and someone could very easily be having a laugh . Not say this is the caseful , but it ’s quite possible .

The leak came from China so the chance of this being legit is mellow .
In any case , with the unexampled audio synced with the original video , it does seem to fit pretty well , and some fans even say they ’re all right with it once they see it in context .
