Built at the kickoff of the 70s , the Kiev serve in the Soviet and Russian navies from 1975 to 1993 . It was bought by a Chinese company in 1996 , which incorporated it into the Binhai military car park in Tianjin , in the northern part of the country .
Then it was bought by a Chinese company to be turned into a hotel . They spent $ 16,000,000 in make this horror , complete with fake naval officer as hotel personell .
Secretly , I wish they did change state the Enterprise into a hotel too , but reestablish its original quarters . [ China Defense Blog ]
