Barbra Streisandwas timeless at the2024 SAG Awardswhere she received theLife Achievement Awardfrom the guild.

The singer and actress, 81, glittered in a gold top and skirt combo layered under an open black jacket with complementary gold floral embroidery at the collar.

Streisand topped the look with a black beret with matching sparkle stitching and slipped on black leather gloves.

TheFunny Girlstar stepped on stage to accept the SAG Life Achievement Award, which is awarded to those who exhibit the “finest ideals of the acting profession,” according to a press release.

After joking that this is the best award to get “because you know in advance you’re going to get it,” Streisand began hersentimental acceptance speech, “Thank you SAG-AFTRA. I’m very proud to be a member for over 60 years. I can’t quite believe it.”

In a release about the honor, the guild also called theEGOT honoree"one of the greatest entertainers of all time.”

“Ever since I was a young girl sitting in the Loew’s Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, I dreamed of being one of those actresses I saw on the screen," Streisand said in a statement.

“The movies were a portal to a world I could only imagine,” she continued. “Even though I was an unlikely candidate, somehow my dream came true. This award is especially meaningful to me because it comes from my fellow actors, whom I so admire.”

The guild’s president,The Nannystar Fran Drescher, also called Streisand “an icon and unparalleled talent, a force of nature who has seamlessly woven her brilliance through the fabric of our industry” in a December statement.
