The Anonymous hacking collective has petitioned the White House , using the US authorities ’s undecided forum to inquire for DDoS onset to be registered as an prescribed form of complaint – and requesting the judgment of conviction of previous DDoS attackers be pass over from their platter .
The petition does make some sense . Anon claims that a DDoS onslaught is exchangeable to the modern drift of “ take ” protest , where unshaven anti - capitalists posture inside a branch of Vodafone annoying proper customers with their banners and cry about taxation .
It says a DDoS is the same thing , only virtual , with complainants instead using their computers to concern a World Wide Web site and therefore denying user the prospect to apply it .

Anon does n’t do itself any favours , though , pointing out that the DDoS attempt method is little more than “ repeatedly hitting the refresh button on a webpage . ” Which does n’t vocalise as coolheaded . [ White HouseviaThe Register ]
