We’ve heard of kid moms, dog moms, and cat moms, and nowAngie Harmonis introducing her social media followers to squirrel moms.
TheLaw & Orderactress, 51, garnered attention after posting numerous photos and videos of herself caring for a young squirrel — who appears to have taken up residence in Harmon’s house — on Instagram.
Harmon first posted about her new rodent friendon Instagramon Sept. 15, introducing the animal as Thomas.
“Totally NUTS about this little guy!!! (See what I did there?😉🐿️🌰🍼) I haven’t slept in two weeks but I’ve never been happier,” she wrote alongside videos of feeding and cleaning the little creature. “Everyone meet Thomas, Thomas meet everyone!”
Harmon also added several hashtags to the post, including #squirrelmomproblems.

On Sept. 20, Harmon posteda photo of Thomas snugglinginto her neck with the caption, “Best ‘Sorry, I can’t workout today’ excuse EVER.”
Harmon has shared more peeks into her life with Thomas but has yet to provide information on how the squirrel came into her care or what she plans to do with the rodent in the future.
“Squirrel moms are GANGSTER! I need more paws, more hair & more sleep!” theRizzoli & Islesstar captioned a Sept. 26 video showing her kissing, feeding and talking to Thomas.

In her most recent post about Thomas, Harmon shared a video of the squirrel sitting on her shoulder.
“101 fever but a growing boys gotta EAT!!” she captioned the Oct. 10 post.
Numerous celebs have commented on Harmon’s posts about life as a squirrel mom.
Singer-songwriterJewelcommented on Harmon’s first Thomas video: “Awwww- universal mothering mode activated!”

Sharon Stone’s comment was more cautious.
“He can carry rabies so take him to your vet,” theBasic Instinctactress wrote on Harmon’s latest post about Thomas.
According to theCenters for Disease Control, small rodents, including squirrels, “are almost never found to be infected with rabies and have not been known to transmit rabies to humans.”

While Harmon appears to be enjoying life as a squirrel mom, the Humane Society of the United States does not condone caring for squirrels as pets.
